203 Grandson Noah's Retro Happy Childhood Quilt

I feel such a good feeling in my heart when I picture our little grandson Noah growing up alongside additional siblings and many happy cousins.  This nostalgic print is so sweet and predicts a wonderful childhood of adventures and play with family and friends!  I am thrilled to my core for our beloved Andrew & Emily!

Noah & Nora playing and picnicking together!  (I think I spy a peekaboo of Grant and Charlotte, too!)

Yes, indeed!  There is little Charlotte playing with Nora!  Such fun!

Busy Day - Baby Snuggler Blankies

Soft, warm Snuggler Blankies.  Polar fleece on the back, cute flannel patterns on the front.  Small in size:  perfect for cuddles, stroller, car seat, etc.  Gotta have them in Mom's car, Dad's car, upstairs, downstairs, everywhere!

202 Ashley's Happy Scrappy - turquoise, orange, mustard yellow & navy blue

Our beloved Ashley, one of Sarah's BFF's, has served her as doula for all of her births.  We adore her.  She is one of the most nurturing, kind, thoughtful people on the earth.  As I watched her joyously, graciously assist my sweet Sarah in the labor and delivery of her third child... my heart shouted, "must must must make Ashley a quilt!"

It turned out to be one of my favorite Happy Scrappies due to Ashley's unique, joyous blend of favorite colors:

mustard yellow
and navy blue

As beautiful as Ashley!

I want to remember this particular quilting design.  I "stair stepped stich-in-the-ditch" then did the interior work stairstep on the way back up to the top.  Next time I'll add some additional flor de lis on the interior work as I get used to this.

201 Marleine's Sampler Block Quilt

Years and years ago Marleine took a quilting class and made all these sampler blocks.  Then the blocks sat in a drawer, in Houston, until I chanced upon them when I visited in 2014/15.  Now that she and Dickie are coming up... I'm racing to finish before they arrive!  Bet MarMar has nearly forgotten about it.  Won't she be delighted to see her finished quilt?  I added the 16 cornerstones and all the sashing.  That should really surprise her.

I just LOVE samplers!
