Another beautiful quilt by Cori. She got this one done lickity-split this morning. A large, overall meandering quilt pattern. She said she created this happy scrappy by sewing strip sets together. Wonderful! I want to make one now!

One of the sweetest, most wonderful girls from my old high school small group just had a baby girl this month. I'm so happy for her and her husband. And I'm so excited to surprise her with this cute quilt. I hope she likes it.
Such a sweet old fashioned girly-girl print for dear little baby Rosey

My vision came true yesterday when one of my Quilter Protege's, Cori, helped Trainee Cathy quilt her first quilt! I was busy traipsing DAISY Girl Scouts on the public bus up to the "Using Resources Wisely" badge workshop at the Children's Museum. But Millie didn't suffer, for she had expert Cori there to help Cathy learn all her Millie-nuances! Good job, Girls, I'm proud of you!
Cathy wanted us to note her quilt is a scrap/practice quilt.
So blog readers don't think she is color blind.
ha ha ha...
I just adore scrappy mish-mosh quilts! Those are the yummiest, cuddliest!
Wow, Cori! This is amazing! Good job.
